Mowing

Turf will be completely and evenly mowed at a height most suitable for the species and the site’s specific needs with appropriate sized lawn mowers, weekly or as needed for the entire mowing season. 

In areas we cannot reach with a lawnmower, we will string trim the turf to the height of adjacent turf.  McIntosh Grounds Maintenance does not bag grass clippings. 

Turf grass research shows that by using proper mowers, it is better to return clipping to the turf for nutritional replenishment. This process is called grass cycling and it’s a tremendous help to our environment. 

We will also machine blow all parking lots and roadways removing all grass clippings after mowing.
