Aeration

Aeration opens up compacted soil and heavy thatch that prevent water and nutrients from reaching the root zone, suffocating your grass. It should be part of your annual lawn maintenance and is one of the best things you can do for lawn as it:

  • Increases air, water and nutrient movement to the root zone
  • Intensifies decomposition of thatch
  • Helps relieve soil compaction
  • Stimulates new growth
  • Improves drainage
  • Provides a better environment for over seeding
  • Increases the effectiveness of fertilizers and other lawn products

Aeration removes cores of thatch, soil and grass from the ground through the use of a machine with cylinder-like tines that opens up the soil, allowing grass plants to breathe and make better use of fertilizer, air and water.
